If you’ve browsed my website or Facebook, this beautiful family may look familiar to you! I had the pleasure of taking Aiden and Ella Brooke’s photos a few years ago and then again for family photos later on and now, I got to meet their newest addition, little precious Bennett! He wasn’t much interested in sleeping but he sure is a cutie pie. He just looked around, not wanting to miss a thing. Taking these for this family is an honor and I’m so thankful I get to witness families like this one grow. This little guy is surely loved and adored! Oh, and if you reach the end, you’re in for a real treat….Bennett fell asleep on the hunting job!
Parent’s Name
Daniel and Lindsey
Baby’s Name
Bennett Ford
How did Mom & Dad meet?
Through mutual friends
How did you tell family and friends you were expecting?
Big sister wore a shirt that said “I’m going to be a Big Sister”
Did you find out the gender beforehand? What were both Mom and Dad’s reactions.
We did a reveal party and neither of us knew the gender. I was expecting it to be pink balloons coming out of that box and boy was I shocked when I saw blue balloons!! Dad of course was very excited.
List the possible baby names, and how you narrowed it down?
Bennett was the only name we could agree upon. Ford came from my mom’s maiden name , Vanderford hense where we got Ford.
Was labor and delivery what you expected? If not, tell us how things were surprising or not what you expected.
I was very blessed and Labor was easy in both of my pregnancies.
Did baby look a lot like Mom, Dad or other siblings? Did you have fun with comparing baby photos?
When he arrived, no one could really tell who he looked like. As the weeks have come, most say he looks like my little girl, Ella Brooke.
What were Mom’s first thoughts when she saw her baby? And Dad?
I was just so excited to finally see his little face and blessed to have a healthy baby boy!
What have the first few weeks at home with baby been like?
First few weeks have been rough. Getting into a routine with him as well as our other two. He was really fussy the first 5 weeks but things have definitely gotten better.
